Tyreek Moore Obituary, Death; – A man was fatally shot and another was assaulted with a firearm by a group of assailants on a street in the Bronx, according to police reports released on Monday.
Tyreek Moore, aged 26, and a 24-year-old companion were approached on Seward Avenue near Pugsley Avenue in Castle Hill at approximately 5:55 p.m. on Sunday, as stated by law enforcement officials.
The victims were confronted by three men clad in black and a woman in gray who attempted to rob them. During the altercation, at least one of the victims resisted, resulting in Moore being shot in the back. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Jacobi Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries. At the time of the incident, Moore was approximately three miles from his residence.
The younger victim, who suffered a pistol-whipping to the head, was also taken to the same medical facility and is anticipated to make a full recovery. The assailants managed to escape with the younger victim’s cell phone and wallet, and law enforcement has yet to apprehend them.
