Tyler Thompson Obituary, Death; – The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the driver who lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident in Dubuque County on Tuesday. Tyler Thompson, a 36-year-old resident of Dubuque, succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Highway 52 South at Kemp Road. Preliminary investigations suggest that a driver veered across the center line, resulting in a head-on collision with another vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.
Two drivers required extrication from their vehicles. Thompson and another driver were transported to the hospital, where Thompson was pronounced dead. The other driver is anticipated to recover. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
