Trino Steven Leon Obituary, Death; – Homicide detectives are seeking witnesses and further information following the discovery of a deceased 48-year-old man in Santa Ana on Saturday evening, according to police reports.
The Santa Ana Police Department indicated that they received a notification regarding a shooting at approximately 8:51 p.m. in the vicinity of 2000 S. Wood Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 48-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as Trino Steven Leon, a resident of Anaheim.
The Orange County Fire Authority was summoned to the scene and transported Leon to a nearby hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The police department stated in a release on Sunday that the motive behind the shooting is currently under investigation.
Information remains scarce, and authorities have not yet provided a description of any suspects or additional details leading up to the event. Homicide detectives are actively working to identify and locate more witnesses who may have pertinent information regarding the case.
