Tresda M Caddell Obituary, Death; A tragic single-vehicle accident occurred early Saturday in Tuscaloosa County, resulting in the death of a woman from Tuscaloosa.
The incident took place at approximately 5:30 a.m. on August 23 on U.S. Highway 11, close to Cedar Cove Loop Road, roughly 2 miles east of Coaling.
Tresda M. Caddell, aged 38, sustained fatal injuries when the SUV she was riding in veered off the road, collided with an embankment, overturned, and struck a utility pole.
Caddell, who was not wearing a seat belt during the incident, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, 66-year-old Dwight J. Jones from Cottondale, did not suffer any injuries.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
