Tray Lee McCollum Obituary, Death; – On September 21, at around 12:48 a.m., the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male who was not breathing at a residence located in the city of Bagley.
Upon their arrival, life-saving efforts were initiated for 26-year-old Tray Lee McCollum.
McCollum was subsequently transported to a nearby medical facility, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 1:35 a.m.
Medical personnel later informed law enforcement that there were indications of trauma on McCollum’s head, which were consistent with an assault or significant force.
It was later revealed that McCollum and another individual had been assaulted in Falk Township and subsequently taken to the residence in the City of Bagley.
The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Christyan Matthew Logan, was apprehended in the City of Fosston. He has since been booked into the Clearwater County Jail on charges of second-degree murder.
Logan is anticipated to be arraigned on September 22, and an autopsy for McCollum is scheduled for the same day.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) has been called in to aid in the investigation, and no additional information is available at this moment.
