Tina Keas,Dewey Ramsey Obituary, Death; – Sheriff’s investigators are appealing to the public for assistance following the discovery of a deceased couple in a residence located in Clay County. Sheriff Ronnie Cole reported that his office received a call at approximately 7:51 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, requesting a welfare check at a property on 5th Street in Knobel.
“The caller indicated that they had been unable to reach the individuals for several days,” Cole stated in a news release. Upon the arrival of a deputy, there was no response at the door, prompting the deputy to force entry into the residence.
Once inside, the deputy discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. Cole mentioned that the remains were sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for autopsy and positive identification. On Tuesday, September 9, Cole confirmed that the male victim had been identified as 69-year-old Dewey Ramsey.
However, the sheriff noted that they are still awaiting DNA results to verify the identity of the female, who is believed to be 45-year-old Tina Keas.
Cole stated that the cause of death is expected to be disclosed in the upcoming days.
