Timothy Carol Brown Obituary, Death; – A man is dead after a motorcycle crash Monday, July 14, according to the Blue Ridge Parkway officials.
National Park Service dispatchers responded at 4:17 p.m. to a single motorcycle crash near milepost 16 on Blue Ridge Parkway, according to officials.
Officials say National Park Service personnel, along with Wintergreen Fire, EMS, and police found a motorcyclist on the scene. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound when he left the road shoulder, veered back onto the road, flipped, and came to a stop, according to officials.
The motorcyclist was identified as Timothy Carol Brown, 68, of Trussville Alabama. He was transported to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
