Thomas Stewart Obituary, Death; – The individual who tragically lost his life in a single-engine plane crash near Maplewood Park in Rochester has been identified as Thomas Stewart, aged 80, from Churchville, as reported by the Rochester Police Department.

The aircraft went down on Bridge View Drive at approximately 1:30 p.m. on August 1. Stewart was declared deceased at the scene. A second passenger was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Preliminary investigations indicate that engine failure may have led to the plane crash in Rochester, NY. The National Transportation Safety Board is currently investigating the incident, but a spokesperson mentioned that initial findings point to an engine malfunction that resulted in the aircraft crashing into trees adjacent to the roadway. The plane has been removed for further analysis.
