Thomas Anderson Obituary, Death; – On Thursday, August 7, the New York State Police identified the individual as Thomas Anderson, a Hyde Park resident. Anderson was discovered unresponsive within a van belonging to New Horizons Resources Inc. at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, August 4.
According to a report by Daily Voice, the vehicle was stationed on the organization’s premises located at 201 Cream St. in Hyde Park at that time.
Anderson was a resident of the New Horizons facility, which offers support services for individuals with developmental disabilities across the Hudson Valley.
An autopsy has been conducted; however, the cause of death is still pending additional examination and toxicology analysis, as stated by the State Police.
The investigation is ongoing, being actively pursued by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in conjunction with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office. No further information has been disclosed.
