Terica Pearl Arrested; – A woman in Alabama has been taken into custody following the discovery of a deceased baby girl inside a hearse at a funeral home, as reported by authorities.
The Gadsden Police apprehended Terica Pearl and have charged her with murder. According to the Gadsden Police, the infant was located at the West Gadsden Funeral Home.
Dantez Robinson, the owner of the funeral home, stated that employees were returning from another call when someone mistakenly believed they saw a doll in the hearse. However, upon opening the door, they realized it was a human baby that was not placed in a casket.
“In less than 12 hours, the investigation transitioned from uncertainty to an arrest,” noted Lieutenant Dusty Ford of the Gadsden Police Department. “This was a challenging case for all parties involved,” remarked Mayor Craig Ford. “I commend our police department for their pursuit of the truth and their successful resolution. While an arrest does not alleviate the pain, it signifies that we are one step closer to achieving justice for this child.”
Currently, the Gadsden Police have stated that they will withhold the name of the child in order to respect the family’s privacy.
