Tempest Vanshay Reese Arrested; – The Opelika Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a deadly assault that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a report at around 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Comanchee Drive, where they found a crashed vehicle and a female driver with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was promptly taken to East Alabama Medical Center for emergency care but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter. After a preliminary investigation, authorities have identified 35-year-old Tempest Vanshay Reese as a suspect in this case. Reese is now being sought on charges of murder.
