Tayvon Michael Dawson Obituary, Death; – A 27-year-old Henrico man was one of two people killed in a crash on Route 460 in Sussex County on Sunday.
According to Virginia State Police, around 1:50 p.m., the driver of a 2010 Ford Fusion was traveling westbound on Route 460, then crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Jeep Patriot head on.
“The Ford immediately caught fire after impact, significantly burning the driver,” state police said Monday. Both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene. A passenger in the Jeep was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as Tayvon Michael Dawson, of Henrico. The driver of the Ford has not yet been identified.
