Steven Menefee Obituary, Death; – Authorities on Thursday identified the second person who was killed in an explosion at U.S. Steel’s Clairton Coke Works Monday.
Steven Menefee, 52, died at the steel plant Monday, authorities said.
The explosion at Clairton Coke Works, the nation’s largest coke manufacturing facility, also killed Timothy Quinn, 39, of Westmoreland County, and injured ten others.
The explosion was occurred around 10:47 a.m. Monday. Officials have not provided any explanation for what may have caused the deadly explosion, but authorities have promised a thorough investigation.
