Sterling Ray Hall Jr Obituary, Death; – The Jackson Police Department, along with the Hinds County coroner, has concluded their investigation at the site of an accident on I-55 in Northeast Jackson.
According to the Jackson Police, a pedestrian was attempting to cross I-55 North when he was struck by two vehicles at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. Detective Tommie Brown has identified the victim as 57-year-old Sterling Ray Hall Jr. Detective Brown reported that Hall was initially hit by a gray 2013 Toyota 4-Runner, followed by a second collision with a brown 2025 Freightliner UPS 18-wheeler.
Authorities indicated that the drivers of both vehicles contacted the police to report the incident.
