Stephen Ferik Obituary, Death;- A 75-year-old man from Bridgeport has been confirmed as the victim of a deadly accident that took place last week on Ferry Boulevard in Stratford, according to police reports.
Stratford police Captain Robert Burroughs stated that Stephen Ferik passed away after suffering severe injuries in a single-vehicle accident at approximately 9:10 a.m. on July 1.
The incident occurred near the intersection with Barnum Avenue Cutoff, as noted by Burroughs, and Ferik was the sole occupant of the car.
Burroughs mentioned that Ferik was taken to Bridgeport Hospital after the accident, but he was declared dead shortly thereafter. The crash investigation team of the department is currently working to ascertain the cause of the accident, as reported by Burroughs.
