Skyler Huckaby Obituary, Death; – Adair County Public Schools has reported the tragic death of one of its students in a car accident on Sunday morning. In a post on Facebook, the district confirmed that 8th grader Skyler Huckaby has passed away following the incident.
“Our entire school community is mourning this significant loss. Skyler was a bright and compassionate student, cherished by his peers, teachers, and staff,” stated Superintendent Jason Faulkner. “His presence in our hallways brought vibrancy and happiness, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
Skyler attended Adair County Middle School. Superintendent Faulkner mentioned that grief counselors and support personnel will be available at the school for both students and staff in the coming days. He encourages anyone in need of assistance to reach out.
“Our thoughts and sincere prayers are with Skyler’s family and loved ones during this incredibly challenging time. We urge the community to keep them in your thoughts as they navigate the days ahead,” Faulkner added.
