Sinai Barraza Obituary, Death; – Sinai Barraza, 18 years old, hailing from Santa Clarita and a 2025 graduate of Golden Valley High School, has been identified as the individual who lost her life in a crash on Sierra Highway Thursday afternoon, as reported by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday on the 17200 block of Sierra Highway, directly in front of the College of the Canyons Canyon Country Campus.
Paramedics pronounced Barraza dead upon their arrival.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was taken to the hospital, and their current condition remains unknown.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Traffic Office is conducting an investigation into the crash.
