Shianta Kirby Obituary, Death; – The coroner of Florence County has disclosed the identity of an individual who was fatally shot during a home invasion incident. Coroner Keith von Lutcken confirmed that the deceased is 34-year-old Shianta Kirby, a resident of Florence.
On Friday afternoon, law enforcement officials responded to a report of a potential home invasion at a residence located on Rodman Road, near Lake City. Upon their arrival, deputies reported that Kirby had sustained gunshot wounds inflicted by the homeowner. The sheriff’s office further indicated that Kirby was considered a suspect in the ongoing home invasion. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
