Shelby Dawn Hayward Obituary, Death; – Two individuals have been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the death of 30-year-old Shelby Dawn Hayward. Hayward was reported missing in November 2023 after she was last seen in the vicinity of Polo Park Mall.
The investigation initially conducted by the Missing Persons Unit was transferred to the Homicide Unit earlier this year, as evidence indicated that she was deceased. Authorities have identified four suspects associated with Hayward’s death.
On September 25, 24-year-old Tamara Gayle Moneyas was arrested at a residence on Toronto Street. Subsequently, on October 2, 39-year-old Vincent Charles Fontaine was taken into custody at the Headingley Correctional Institution. Both individuals face charges of first-degree murder and are currently detained.
A third suspect, 25-year-old Taylor Lena Ray Moose, remains at large, and a warrant for her arrest has been issued. She is described as approximately five feet four inches tall, weighing around 137 pounds, with auburn hair and brown eyes.
A fourth suspect has passed away during the course of the investigation. The Homicide Unit is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Moose.
