Shazad Kha Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with murder following the death of an ice cream vendor in north-west London.
Zaher Zaarour, aged 26, residing on North Circular Road in Brent, was charged with murder and possession of a bladed weapon on Thursday. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Monks Park, Wembley, at 18:10 BST on Tuesday.
Shazad Khan, aged 41, received treatment from the London Ambulance Service but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A 31-year-old woman was apprehended at the scene on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder but has since been released on bail while further inquiries are conducted.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller stated: “I would like to express my gratitude to the community for their assistance and support throughout this investigation.
“Residents should anticipate an increased police presence in the local area in the coming days as the investigation progresses.”
