Shauntae Nicole Parker Obituary, – A woman who was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Gardena has been identified as of Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched around 11:55 p.m. on Saturday to the 1600 block of Rosecrans Avenue in response to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. Upon arrival, they found a woman lying in the roadway, as stated by the Gardena Police Department.

, 45 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Information regarding her place of residence was not immediately available. Paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced her deceased.
According to preliminary investigations, the driver was heading eastbound on Rosecrans Avenue when the vehicle collided with the pedestrian. The driver did not stop and fled the scene, as reported by the police.
