Sean Nolan Obituary, Death; – The man who was hit and killed by a semi-truck after falling off an electric scooter in Spokane over the weekend has been identified.
According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner, 21-year-old Sean Nolan died from blunt force injuries early Saturday morning. The medical examiner also said the manner of Nolan’s death was an accident.
SPD said two men were riding on the electric scooter on the sidewalk when the passenger, later identified as Nolan, lost his balance and fell into the road, while the driver fell onto the sidewalk. A semi-truck going the same direction then hit Nolan.
Nolan died at the scene despite help from both the truck driver and first responders. The truck driver cooperated with police and didn’t have any signs of impairment, according to SPD.
