Sean Collins Obituary, Death; – Toronto police have confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally stabbed on Thursday in an apartment located near Fort York. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Sean Collins, a resident of Toronto.
At approximately 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a stabbing in the vicinity of Fort York Boulevard and Dan Leckie Way. According to police, witnesses reported an altercation between two men, during which both individuals inflicted stab wounds upon each other.
Both men were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where Collins was later pronounced dead. The other individual remains hospitalized in critical condition, as stated by Det-Sgt. Brandon Price during a press conference on Thursday morning.
A 33-year-old man from Toronto has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital, according to police. Authorities have indicated that the two men were acquainted with one another.
