Savannus Terone Mallet ARRESTED; – A man from Huntsville has been taken into custody following an alleged stabbing incident that occurred on Tuesday evening.
As reported by the Huntsville Police Department, at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of the 2200 block of Memorial Parkway, an officer on patrol was approached by a citizen in a nearby motel parking lot. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a male victim lying on the ground with injuries indicative of a knife attack.
Witnesses informed the police that the victim and the suspect had been involved in a confrontation, during which the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim with a knife. Based on the descriptions provided by witnesses, officers were able to identify and apprehend a suspect who matched the given details. The suspect was subsequently detained for further investigation.
Authorities reported that the victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries. They believe the incident was isolated in nature. The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Savannus Terone Mallet, a resident of Huntsville. He has been charged with First Degree Assault and is currently held at the Madison County Jail, with a bond set at $10,000.
