Salvador Medina Jr Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identities of both individuals who lost their lives in a head-on collision last week on Seventh Street. Additionally, a fundraising campaign has successfully raised thousands of dollars to support the family of the victim who was struck by the wrong-way driver.
Salvador Medina Jr., 35, from Long Beach, was traveling eastbound in a red Honda Accord at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday when his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a speeding Honda Civic that veered into oncoming traffic near Terraine Avenue, as reported by Long Beach police. His family expressed, “Yeye was the kind of person you only meet once in a lifetime, if you’re lucky.” He is survived by his wife, Brenda, and two daughters, aged 15 and 8, as noted in the fundraiser. “This pain will never fully go away, but neither will the love we have for him,” his family stated.
