Ryan Ayers Obituary, Death; – State police in Dunmore have confirmed the identity of a 23-year-old motorcyclist from Luzerne County who tragically lost his life in a collision on Saturday in Spring Brook Township.
Ryan Ayers, a resident of Kingston, was involved in an accident with a pick-up truck on Springbrook Avenue, just west of Kilmer Road, at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday. According to state police, Ayers was negotiating a right curve in the roadway when his motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Ayers was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of first responders to revive him. The driver of the pick-up truck, a 21-year-old man from Ashley, sustained no injuries, as reported by state police. Following the incident, a portion of Springbrook Avenue was closed for several hours.
