Roney Williams Obituary, Death; – On Monday, October 21, 2024, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the Mobile Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of St. Stephens Road and Cox Street following reports of an individual who had been struck by a vehicle.
Upon their arrival, officers found a male victim lying in the roadway, who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department (MFRD). Further investigation revealed that the victim had been operating a motorcycle when he lost control and fell onto the roadway.
A vehicle traveling southbound on St. Stephens Road collided with the victim and failed to stop. The victim has been identified as Roney Williams, aged 56. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
