Rocky Iammarino,Rachel Iammarino Obituary, Death; – An investigation is currently in progress following the tragic deaths of two individuals from North Ridgeville, identified as 42-year-old Rocky Iammarino and 38-year-old Rachel Iammarino, who lost their lives in a motorcycle accident in Hinckley Township last week.
Details released on Tuesday morning by the Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol indicate that the incident occurred on October 11 at 6:17 p.m. on Route 303, near State Road.
According to the Highway Patrol’s preliminary investigation, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it veered left of center in an attempt to overtake a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2018 Freightliner commercial vehicle. The motorcycle subsequently collided head-on with a westbound 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Authorities reported that both Rocky and Rachel, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep, a 43-year-old woman from Brunswick, was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The Ohio State Highway Patrol noted that they received assistance at the scene from various agencies from Hinckley, Richfield, and Granger.
