Robert Peliti,Jackie Peliti Obituary, Death; – Two individuals who lost their lives in Pontotoc County during an apparent murder spree on Tuesday night have been identified.
Approximately at 11:30 p.m., the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office sought the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to probe a double homicide occurring near State Highway 1 and County Road 1512 in Allen. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 84-year-old Robert Peliti and 70-year-old Jackie Peliti in critical condition.
Jackie succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while Robert was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away, as reported by the OSBI.
The suspect in these murders has been identified as 42-year-old Richard Chambers, who is also linked to a homicide case in Midwest City. The victim from Midwest City has been named as Annie Brown. On Wednesday morning, at approximately 9 a.m., Chambers was apprehended in rural Hughes County following an extensive manhunt lasting several hours.
The investigation remains active.
