Robert A Brownback Obituary, Death;- A fatal accident occurred in Hood River County last Wednesday, as reported by the Oregon State Police.
The incident took place on February 12, shortly before 5:30 p.m., on Highway 35, in the vicinity of milepost 74. According to OSP, the investigation revealed that a northbound Subaru Forester accelerated for reasons that remain unclear, veered into the southbound lane, and collided with a rock wall. The driver, identified as 64-year-old Robert A. Brownback from Hood River, was pronounced dead at the scene.
OSP indicated that Brownback was not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
