Richard Smith Obituary, – The individual who lost his life in a truck accident on a farm in Corinth has been named. Richard Smith, aged 73, from Exeter, was operating the farm truck on Beans Mill Road at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, when he veered off the roadway near the intersection with Exeter Road, as reported by the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon impact with a cluster of trees, Smith was thrown to the passenger side of the vehicle and became wedged between that side and a tree. It is possible that he experienced a medical incident prior to sustaining head injuries in the collision. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the truck.
