Renee Gonzalez Obituary, Death; – A 65-year-old female pedestrian was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle while standing in the eastbound lanes of State Highway 199 on the night of February 16, as reported by the Department of Public Safety.
Emergency responders discovered the woman’s body in the eastbound lanes of SH 199. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the pedestrian as 65-year-old Renee Gonzalez from Springtown, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 2017 Honda Accord involved in the incident was an 18-year-old woman from Azle, who remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The accident is being investigated by Parker County DPS Trooper N. Morgan.
