Remarcus Heagler Obituary, – A shooting that occurred on August 21 in the far east side of Columbus has been classified as a homicide following the victim’s death.
Authorities have identified the victim as 27-year-old Remarcus Heagler, who was shot in the 5100 block of Cedar Drive shortly after 9 p.m.
Heagler was transported to a hospital in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries on August 23 at 3:20 p.m., according to the Columbus Police Department.
The investigation into this incident is now being treated as a homicide, with police indicating that information regarding the suspect remains unknown.
