Ralph Reimer Obituary, Death; – A man has been apprehended following the fatal incident involving a pedestrian who was struck by a truck in the Money Hill subdivision on Monday, September 16.
As reported by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, preliminary investigations revealed that 74-year-old Ralph Reimer was jogging along Money Hill Parkway when he was collided with by a Chevrolet Silverado. Upon the arrival of deputies, Reimer was transported to a hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Nearly three months later, on Wednesday, December 11, 34-year-old Barron Tyler from Covington was arrested in relation to the incident and was booked at the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on a charge of negligent homicide.
