President Joe Biden GENERAL; – President Joe Biden announced on Monday that he has granted pardons to his siblings and their spouses, asserting that his family has faced “unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me — the worst kind of partisan politics.”
In a statement, President Biden expressed, “My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me—the worst kind of partisan politics. Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe these attacks will end.”
He also issued a series of pardons and commutations just before leaving office, which included aides and allies who have been targeted by Donald Trump, none of whom have faced any criminal charges.
Additionally, last month, he pardoned his son, Hunter, for offenses related to tax and firearms.
