Philip Jack Toomes Obituary, Death; – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who was involved in a collision with two vehicles while operating his motorcycle in San Antonio on Tuesday.
The motorcyclist has been named as 75-year-old Philip Jack Toomes. At approximately 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, the San Antonio Police Department responded to reports of an accident in the 1100 block of Wetmore Road. Initial investigations indicate that Toomes was heading south on Wetmore Road when a truck collided with him while attempting to exit from private property.
As the truck driver exited the vehicle to assist Toomes, who was trapped beneath the motorcycle due to the impact, a GMC Terrain subsequently struck the motorcycle and ran over Toomes. Both drivers involved in the incidents remained at the scene, and according to SAPD, no charges are anticipated to be filed.
