Paul Glass Jr Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life following a shooting incident that occurred on October 19 in Pittsylvania County, as reported by the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were alerted to the shooting at approximately 4 p.m. in the 500 block of Delta Drive, located in the Hurt area of Pittsylvania County.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man, later identified as Paul Glass, Jr., aged 58, lying in the front yard with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was subsequently transported to SOVAH Health in Gretna, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators have confirmed that a suspect has been identified and taken into custody, although the name of the individual has not yet been disclosed. Authorities have stated that there is no threat to the community at this time. Further charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
