Patrick Robert Lanahan Obituary, Death; – A head-on collision on Route 82 led to the death of a man from Wallingford and resulted in injuries to three other individuals, as reported by the police.
According to Connecticut State Police, 29-year-old Patrick Robert Lanahan lost his life after he was unable to navigate a curve and collided with another vehicle while heading west at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Lanahan initially veered off the road after failing to manage the curve, but subsequently re-entered the roadway and collided with an SUV traveling east. Authorities stated that the sedan driven by Lanahan subsequently “flipped over and came to rest on its roof in the center of the highway.”
The SUV involved in the accident spun out of control, as per police reports, and all three passengers were taken to the hospital. Authorities confirmed that Lanahan was declared dead at the scene, and an investigation into the incident is still in progress.
