Patricia Galante Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday, deputies from the Monroe County sheriff’s office identified the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle near Pittsford Plaza.
Patricia Galante, a 74-year-old resident of Rochester, lost her life when a sport utility vehicle hit her on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Friday, as stated by sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Brendan Hurley. Galante was declared dead at the scene. The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this challenging time,” Hurley mentioned in a news release. No additional details regarding the incident have been made public.
