Olga Ducon Obituary, Death; – A woman who lost her life in a domestic shooting incident on Sunday evening in northwest suburban Barrington has been named.
At approximately 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, law enforcement officers responded to a call in the 400 block of West Russell Street, where they discovered Olga Ducon, 42, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound, according to Barrington police. Ducon, a resident of Vernon Hills, was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, as reported by the police.
Authorities indicated that the shooting was related to a domestic dispute among family members and confirmed that there was no ongoing threat to the community. An autopsy was planned for Monday. Investigators are actively pursuing the case, although no arrests have been made at this time.
