Nykeria Jude Obituary, Death; – Tunica County deputies are currently on the lookout for a suspect following a shooting incident that resulted in one fatality and two individuals being airlifted to a medical facility.
The incident took place in the 1000 block of Soleil Drive in Robinsonville at approximately 7:00 p.m. on July 11. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot injuries. The Tunica County coroner confirmed that Nykeria Jude, aged 30, was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators reported that a 24-year-old male was taken to Regional One Health, while a six-year-old girl was transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Both were airlifted for advanced medical care. Deputies have identified the suspect as Markello Braxton, a resident of Robinsonville, who is deemed to be armed and dangerous.
