Nicholas Winfield Smith Obituary, Death; – Schertz police have confirmed the identity of a motorcyclist who lost his life following a collision on Interstate 35 southbound earlier this week.
Nicholas Winfield Smith, aged 43, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash that occurred on Wednesday at approximately 7:36 p.m. on I-35 at Farm-to-Market 3009, close to Cibolo Valley Drive.
According to Schertz police, Smith was a resident of Harker Heights, Texas, a city located southeast of Killeen. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Smith lying on the ground. He was declared dead at the scene, as reported by Schertz police.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. The specific cause and manner of Smith’s death have not yet been determined.
