Niamani Sade Defares Arrested;- Two people were killed, and one person is facing charges following a multi-vehicle crash that happened on I-85 in Gwinnett County on Sunday morning. The crash happened on I-85 South between Beaver Ruin Road and Pleasantdale Road.
According to police, the driver of the first vehicle, identified as Niamani Sade Defares, hit the back of a motorcycle, causing both riders to fly off the bike. Defares’ vehicle then sideswiped another vehicle.
The crash shut down traffic on both northbound and southbound lanes of I-85, as well as knocked down the large road sign that hangs over the northbound lanes.
