Myeicia Amison Obituary, Death; – A 28-year-old woman has lost her life following a collision with a semi-truck, as reported by Ohio troopers. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the deceased as Myeicia Amison, a resident of Sandusky.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:44 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of State Route 4 and State Route 113 in Lyme Township. The semi-truck was being driven by a 68-year-old man from Akron on SR 113.
According to troopers, Amison was traveling southbound on SR 4 when she failed to adhere to a red traffic signal, resulting in the collision. The driver from Akron sustained no injuries in the incident. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities have indicated that impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor.
