Muoi Te Hua Obituary, Death; – A woman succumbed to her injuries at a hospital following a collision with a driver in southeast Portland on Sunday morning.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement officers responded to a report of an accident near Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 82nd Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman who had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim, identified as 81-year-old Muoi Te Hua from Portland, was transported to a medical facility for care. On Monday, the Major Crash Team was informed that Hua had passed away due to her injuries.
The driver involved in the incident remained at the location and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Authorities indicate that preliminary findings suggest the driver was leaving a parking lot when the collision occurred.
