Mohamed Al-nadi Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist has died following a crash on N. Peters Road that occurred on Friday night, as reported by the Knoxville Police Department.
The incident took place at approximately 7 p.m., according to a news release from KPD’s Scott Erland on Monday. Erland stated that officers were dispatched to the 300 block of the road where a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a Chevy SUV.
According to Erland, preliminary investigations revealed that the SUV was executing a left turn and was in the process of slowing down to stop in the median. Concurrently, the KPD representative noted that a motorcycle shifted into the left lane, accelerated to overtake another vehicle, and collided with the driver’s side of the SUV.
The motorcycle operator, identified as 35-year-old Mohamed Al-nadi, was ejected from the motorcycle, as stated by Erland. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
