Michelle Booker-Stewart,Nathaniel Stewart Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identities of the two individuals who lost their lives in a domestic violence-related incident in San Diego over the past weekend, revealing that they were a married couple.
On Saturday, July 26, officers from the San Diego Police Department responded to a report of a shooting associated with domestic violence at 5516 Timothy Drive, located in the Oak Park neighborhood. The shooting was reported at approximately 9:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper torso. In a different room, they found a man deceased from a gunshot wound to his head, as reported by the police.
Despite the life-saving efforts made by both the police and paramedics from San Diego Fire and Rescue, the woman was declared dead at the scene.
On Thursday, law enforcement officials identified the deceased woman as Michelle Booker-Stewart, aged 51. The man has been identified as her husband, Nathaniel Stewart, aged 57.
Authorities suspect that the incident was a murder/suicide and have indicated that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
