Michaela D Henderson Obituary, Death; – A woman who succumbed to injuries sustained in a collision in Colorado Springs earlier this month has been officially named.
On Friday, the Colorado Springs Police Department released an update regarding the incident that occurred on November 2. Officers responded to the scene in the 1800 block of S. Academy Boulevard at approximately 8:45 p.m. after a report of a woman being struck by a vehicle. This location is situated just north of Chelton Road. The woman was transported to the hospital but unfortunately passed away the following day.
The El Paso County Coroner has confirmed the identity of the pedestrian as 25-year-old Michaela D. Henderson. According to investigators, Henderson was crossing Academy Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when the collision occurred.
