Michael Griffiths IV ARRESTED; – A correctional officer from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office was arrested on Friday for allegedly engaging in consensual sexual relations with an inmate. The sheriff’s office reported that it had recently become aware of the allegations concerning Correctional Officer Michael Griffiths IV, age 24, prompting the initiation of an investigation.
On Friday, Griffiths was processed into the Placerville jail, facing a charge of consensual sexual conduct with an adult held in a detention facility. His bail has been set at $50,000. According to the sheriff’s office, Griffiths is currently on administrative leave.
