Michael Derosa Obituary, Death;- A search for a man who was reported missing on Tuesday concluded on Wednesday when his body was discovered in the Colorado mountains.
Michael Derosa, aged 31, was reported missing after he was last seen departing from the RMU in Breckenridge at approximately 9:48 p.m. on Monday. A search party was scheduled to be organized for Wednesday at 3 p.m., but this was subsequently canceled.
At around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the Breckenridge Police Department and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased individual found near Boreas Pass Road. The agency did not disclose the specific location along the roadway where the body was found, noting that Boreas Pass Road extends from Como to Breckenridge, covering about 20 miles.
The deceased was identified as Derosa.
The police department stated that there is currently no suspicion of foul play.
“We appreciate the community for their concern and support,” the police department remarked. “Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends.”
